Only profitable businesses can save our planet

There is no scientific dispute that the limits of our beautiful planet are fast approaching and we humans are to blame. It is the responsibility of each and every one of us to do everything we can to make this development sustainable. But, as individuals, our influence is very limited. We can only make good choices to the extent that society and businesses offer us. If a company only offers sustainable solutions to the individual, then the individual's actions are sustainable too. In the big picture, business has the greatest responsibility to solve this game for the planet and for nature. But the only way to do that is through profitability.

In Verla Suma, I do, study and develop what I am talking about. I'm helping to save the planet through profitable business.

More about our approach:

Tourism, trade, logistics, technology, consumption and leisure experiences are all going through a big change. Our lifestyles and current habits have not been sustainable for some time. This is reflected in the degradation of nature, natural resources and well-being, in addition to climate change. The only transparent way to look at the sustainable future is to consider the consequences of our actions and minimise the ecological footprint while our services or products add value and create positive impact around us.

New trading models and technologies facilitate connections between businesses and traders, allowing for efficient and automatic sharing of services, stocks, and communication with common customers. Additionally, authentic nature experiences and services in the world's cleanest, most beautiful, and unique natural locations play a crucial role, focusing on the experience rather than real estate business. Furthermore, the daily consideration of preserving existing nature, culture, and human well-being contributes to a sustainable start.

Additionally, the activities must be profitable. All business is primarily a business. Without this, there is no foundation for providing services and products, for work, for administration, or for any other business activities that enable all the experiences and things you desire. Without commerce, there is no value. There is no one who needs something or makes decisions. For a business to endure over time, it must be profitable and adaptable in a rapidly changing world. When a business is profitable and evolving, it creates the necessary potential to be sustainable. All of the above can be achieved with quality and by adhering to society's obligations and rules. Ultimately, it is up to the individual, the decision-maker, to determine if an activity is sustainable.

Verla Suma is an eco-tourism development environment. There, we can test new products and new ways of serving and experiencing things in a peaceful setting, free from distractions. Only in peace and focus can you discover what is essential and develop something that can be shared with others, our partners, our customers, and the world we live in.
